AGM Rescheduled
It is with huge apologies that we need to change the details of the DHSBATA AGM, which was scheduled for Monday.
The new details are:
Date: Monday August 10
Time: 6:30pm
Venue: Peppers Mineral Springs Resort, Hepburn Springs.
Appetisers will be provided, and drinks are available at bar prices.
Our special guests are David & Yuge Bromley, with David speaking about Doing Business in Daylesford and why he returned to our great town.
More information is to follow, but we will need your RSVPs by Wednesday August 6. You can rsvp here.
Join your DHSBATA committee
We are on the lookout for enthusiastic people to share their expertise on our committee. The time commitment is light, and the requirements flexible. If you’d like to talk more about this please email our chairperson today!
No Networking Breakfast this month
Due to the AGM changes (and the cold!), there will be no networking breakfast during July or August. We will be welcoming a new committee in September, and hope to make the networking breakfasts better than ever.
Macedon Ranges Regional Business Networking Night
Thanks to Tamara at Hepburn Shire for this information.
The evening, facilitated by Trent McCarthy (CEO of the Central Ranges Local Learning & Employment Network and professional facilitator), will provide an opportunity for participants to engage with each other. The night will also include facilitated networking activities and feature a dynamic and innovative speaker, Kay Jackson of Simplex Insurance – she tells a cracking story!
The purpose of our networking night being expanded beyond the borders of Macedon Ranges Shire is to provide our businesses with a greater network of potential customers and to keep the business “regional” and sustainable (rather than maybe purchasing online). We also recognise and understand that our residents already travel to surrounding shires to access goods and services not available here and would assume that your residents travel in to the Macedon Ranges for the same reason.
Tuesday 4 August 6.30pm-10pm
The Royal George Hotel
24 Piper Street, Kyneton
Cost: $35 (including finger food)
